Every truck will require replacement truck parts at some point. As with any machine, parts get worn and eventually fail, often only due to general wear and tear. Fortunately, just about any part that breaks down can be replaced.
Truck parts are generally sold in one of two categories; OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or aftermarket. OEM parts are those that are made specifically for that vehicle, by factory authorized parts manufacturers. These parts are generally more expensive, but are the ideal replacements in most instances.
Aftermarket truck parts do have their advantages. The number one advantage is that they are almost always less expensive than typical OEM parts. However, installing these parts can sometimes void the vehicle’s warranty.
